Exhibitor 2009 - Despite our country’s current economic problems, I have to say that all the exhibitors looked great! We were pleased at the response to our new product, Hyperlite as well as the reaction to people finally seeing the EZ612 beam in use. We used the beam extensively and it looked better than even I expected creating an entirely new look! And the Davis workstation was just beautiful. But you can judge for yourself in the photos below.

Helios AV created a total immersion 3D setup with Hyperlite kits  on our workstation which drew quite the crowd. They also made a nice flash presentation and helped us with a  short throw projection setup for our website. Turnout seemed a little lighter than in recent years but most of the dealers I spoke with seemed to be upbeat and optimistic. I spend almost all of my time with distributors and am not really sure how the end user turnout was.

MOD 2009 - For those of you who have never attended the MOD show, Robbie’s Extravanganza really is a can’t miss event. This was our first year but it seemed Abex outdid themselves. First the cool, really cool, I mean ice cold ice sculpture tequila bar across from our booth. But that was only part of it, they entertained us with an awards ceremony that seemed to be half American Idol, half the Oscars, Leeza Gibbons raised a bunch of money for her cause and then they fed us some gourmet food. Abex also introduced their new Solar System displays. All of this was bookended by a mini tradeshow. We used one of our new Irvine kits there and it was a hit! I really enjoyed the mini-show as it was dealers only so I got to meet a few new dealers and chat with some old friends..
